Only if one mod is designed to be a add on of another mod like GoodMod. Otherwise you would have to do it on your own.

Test them all, MedPack is designed to give the medieval era an important part, Cradle focus on the acient era and WAW is for the time period between 1900 and 1950. It depends on you what you will use. Personally I use GoodMod for ApolytonPack. But keep in my mind I am the author of GoodMod.

It might be possible to find it in a real store. But it might be more expensive there than you would by it at an internet shop. But actual I can#T give you a tip about it, because I didn't buy the game online.

I don't know either. But as long as he can't explain why, I will take it just as "crap" without the article. I guess he played it, it wasn't Civ2 and abandoned it, even with mods CTP2 is not Civ2 and not Civ3 either, fortunatly.

yup. should do. Some places might even bundle it with the strategy guide. Not that either are worth the paper they're printed on.

If you buy a unused copy with the original untoughed packing then it will also contain the manual. But actual the manual doesn't contain much more pieces of information, but maybe could be usefull.

Well it might(if you don't get it on a budget label), but most likely it will be in PDF file format on the actual cd , i think you can download it from somewhere in the CTP2 files section(I could be completely wrong on this!!!).
Anyway the manual is not really very helpfull , except for a few things i suppose. Put it this way i never read it apart from the installing bit, untill after i had played it for a month or so.

You can think hundred of times. but get CTP2 at the end and install the Super Apolyton Pack (The non-official patch). fun is garanteed.
Later on move to others mods.

Still dont expect a civ3 variation. It is a much deeper game.
