  • Anyone have CtP2 for sale?

Okay, mods, I'm here and not at CtP forums, because I figured that if anyone wanted to sell their copy of CtP2 it would be an ardent Civ3 fan and not someone who is likely to be at the CtP forum ... right? Make sense?

Anyway, if anyone has CtP2 for sale and would like to get rid, please email me: kolyana@bellsouth.net

I'm interested in getting my hands on one and EB has stopped carrying it.

Ooh, good logic, but you forgot one key item. You're looking in Civ3-General at Apolyton for "ardent Civ3 fans"?! This is the forum for Civ3 haters and Firaxis fanboys to post the same comments repeatedly at each other. What makes you think ANYONE here actually *plays* the game? It takes too much time away from good ol' trolling!

    Sorry, couldn't resist..

        Hey Kolyana -

I got mine at Best Buy - $30. A little steep for an older game (and more than I paid for Civ3), but after modding and booting it - wow. Lots of great looking units, NICE SMOOTH SCROLLING, superior unit art (though the Civ3 art for mountains and other landforms is far superior). And ARMIES AND COMBAT THAT DOESN'T SUCK $HIT THROUGH A STRAW!

        Very promising...

          Not Worth it!

Ctp & CTP2 were both terrible games. I got a copy from a friend I NEVER purchase bad games. I see why CTP is mentioned here because civ3 is really ctp3 in disguise . I bought civ3 though my first bad purchase!

Venger, I'll try that one, thanks for the tip. Not sure if they have one in lake Charles, LA, but I'll see what's around ...

As for the graphics. Civ 3 seems to win hands down, so I'm planning on porting them in as much as possible. CtP's SLIC really had me ... um ... excited, that's what swung it in the end.

$30.00 is way less than I paid for Civ 3 ... $45.00 over here. ::COUGH::

To be honest your logic makes sense!!
"To live again, to be.........again" Captain Kirk in some Star Trek Episode. (The one with the bad guy named Henok)
"One day you may have to think for yourself and heaven help us all when that time comes" Some condescending jerk.

Hmm, CtP2 is at least ten steps forward from Civ2, why would CtP3 go eight steps back again?

What about ebay? That would be the last place to get a used CTP2, but I think this place is most probably place to get a copy. And the link to that place is just in the upper right corner. I don't now why this add banner will send me to the German ebay but I found found CTP2 there of course also on the English ebay.
