Problems with messages after installing patch...

Recently I installed the patch for call to power 2.
After that I loaded my saved game and now the
messages I receive are screwed up....

Is it like in civ2 test of time that you cannot use
saved games saved before installing the patch?

I've tried re-installing without installing the patch, but
then my saved game cannot be recognized anymore...
After re-installing the patch my saved game is back.

If I remember correctly, you should open the chat window and type "/reloadslic" (without the quotes) to fix the messages in games that were saved with the unpatched game.

....And the chat window is opened by pressing the ' key (aprostophe).
