Changing minimum size to disband city

Does anyone know how to change the the minimum size a city needs to be to get disbanded? Which text file do i have to change?

In [CtP2]\ctp2_data\default\gamedata\const.txt
change MAX_DISBAND_SIZE 3 to the size you want.

Unlike CtP1, this option now works.

Actually, this always worked for me in CTP1
Or at least I found whatever flag it WAS using I had mine set to 6. really saved time in waiting for those last few pop points to starve away

Pretty kewl. You must of had a different version of CtP1 than I had. In my version, Disband only worked for up to size 4 cities no matter how high you set the max_disband_size. I ended up having to create an SLIC function to kill all the pops down to the level which worked. Did you have the DVD possibly?

ummmm, there was a DVD version? (chuckle) Actually I had the plain jane first buggy release version. I remember changing this from advice on these boards. it was the first mod I ever did to my game. now that I think about it though, I honestly can't remember if it was to 6 or 4. I WAS thinking I had set it to six, but I could be misremembering... hmmm. I would just open up the file n look but I have uninstalled n reinstalled it a few times and didn't redo the mod. (shrug). oh well, maybe I'm just getting old.

dang, i dont ever remember being able to disband over 3 no matter what i tried. Altho thats the first change i made to CtP2.....LOL
