  • While the server was sleeping...

I haven't been able to get on all morning, so I over to the Officail Apolyton refuge, Civ Fanatics Center. It appears that the CTP2 section is gone. Has anyone else noticed this, or am I out of the loop?

While running a search for CTP info, I came upon this blurb:

Activision has announced that Call to Power II, the sequel to Civilization: Call To Power, is now available in US stores.

"Call to Power II represents a new chapter in the history of the empire building genre," said Parker Davis, senior producer, Activision Studios. "The game blends classic themes and play styles of the empire building genre with improvements in pacing, balance, and combat. Innovations in city growth and management, more powerful diplomacy and trade, and unique AI personalities provide even greater strategic depth and immersion."

Innovations in city growth? Powerful diplomacy? Unique AI personalities? Strategic depth and immersion? WOW!!! Does anyone know where I can get this game????

Yeah Civfanatics lost some of its quality, even if it was never so high as the the quality of Apolyton, no wonder with the many CTP1/2 forums here. Although I have to admit that Civfanatics has better non cookies support.

Well for the game you like to get, we have now high hopes that Activision releases the source code, so that we can find the promissed game in the code.

Buy the game here at Apolyton and support the only CTP2 forums on the web.
Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Yeah, I was never huge into CivFanatics. I spent most of my time there when Poly was down!

Just imagining how great this game will be when they release the code...
