I played CTP2 with the GoodMod for ultra-gigantic maps. I made the map bigger (160 x 320) and set the number of players to 28. I played about 100 turns. It takes some time for the AI civs to make their moves, and during this time the computer works much on the harddrive. Now, when I end my turn some AI civs take their turn and then everytime CTP2 crashes. I get a message from windows which tells me CTP2 caused an error from an invalid page. Does this mean I can dump my current game? Are the initial settings for ultra-large maps the biggest where CTP2 is still stable? Or is it possible the error can also occur with these settings? I played the 400 x 400 world map for some time and had no problems. Does the GoodMod need so much ressources?

Well if it is a slic problem then it would help to reload slic before the crash happens. To do it use the apostrophe key (') to open the chat window and enter: /reloadslic
Then try if the game continues.
If you see a new civilisation then you have to close CTP2 open your userprofile.txt and find there the line MaxPlayers and set the value there below the value you find in the line NumPlayers.
If no new civ was created then you should go back some turns and try if the game will continue.
