Could someone post a savegame of a well-played game from around year 1 AD... no matter what difficulty level...

I bought the game yesterday, and started with beginner (of course)... My capital was conquered by barbarians, and the other city fell a couple of turns later...

The second try was much better. I have all but one wonders so far (and the last wonders I remember were Galileo's telescope and a-strangely-named-trading-company-like wonder).
I'm not a complete idiot: some parts are still missing.

      and a-strangely-named-trading-company-like wonder
East India Trade Company. Portugal and Spain compete together to find a way to reach the Indias in order to buy the so valuable spices to sell in Europe. Since the traditional way via Constatinople (current named Istambul) was in th power of the Arabs

While Spain tried to circunavigate the world with a fleet commanded by Cristovao Colombo what made them find a new continent (America), Portugal tried circunavigate africa (they thought the edge of Africa was a an abism) with a fleet commaded by Vasco da Gama and with this path they reached India create a company (more like an outpost) and come back to Portugal. Therefore they were the one to "build" this wonder in real-life.

Curiosity: Even though only half of the Vasco da Gama fleet was able to return to Portugal they made a 600% investment surplus
But i think if you really wanted to know about you would read the Great Library

Kill thousands and you are a conquer.
Kill all and you are a God!"

        Yep, thanks Pedrunn.
I didn't remember the name of the wonder - and I'm not currently at my PC (which has the CTP2-game installed)... So please forgive me calling it "a-strangely-named-trading-company-like wonder"

And as I said, I'm a newbie with this game, so no need to start rolling your eyes....

Aaglo, welcome to CTP2 . “abism” isn’t recognised by your PC, because it is a Pedrunnism . He meant abyss. As in: “Here be dragons.” Have you installed any mods? You cannot play a saved Cradle game if you don’t have Cradle installed, or SAP saved game if you don't have SAP installed etc.

Pedrunn, are you a history buff? Where did you get all that info about Vasco de Gama from?
