What difficulty should I play at? I always play games at the hardest difficulty level but Im starting to suspect that the AI is cheating... If so, that is pretty bogus.

Also, I can't get modswapper to work. I installed cradle but modswapper will only list the original version. Booo

Looks like you installed Craddle in the wrong folder. Are you sure you installed inside the CTP2 base directory? As default Call to Power 2/

In CTP2 if you ahead the AI gets cheating bonus, if the AI is ahead you get cheating bonus. A rise and fall feature game. But the AI gets a bigger bonus than you depending on the difficult level. There is no strategic game in which the doesnt cheat. The human inteligence cant be beated by an Artificial inteligence in such complex games. There always is cheating.

Also, if playing a non-English version of the game you need to move all files in \Call to Power 2\ctp2_data\english to your language folder.

You make it sound like the directory has to be called \Call to Power 2 for Modswapper to work…

Unfortunately marder, if the vanilla CTP2 AI was a real-life entity – it would either be a politician or a brain-dead Guppy . So, my suggestion is:
          1. Always select the highest level of difficulty you think you can manage (and look the other way when the AI cheats); and
          2. Install those mods!

Did you get modswapper to work? Are you using Windows XP?
