Moving units around quandry

I remember asking someone about moving units around in CTP:2. There must be another way except constantly having to click on that GREEN ARROW!! ??

Like in CTP:1, just click on the unit and move it.
Please, someone advise. I am looking forward to learning this game again, as it has been on shelf since I bought because of MP Bug, but now its fixed, I may indeed get into this!

Use the numbers on the keypad, the ones with the arrows on and the numbers inbetween for the directions inbetween.

Or drag and drop to lay a "path" for the unit.
