  • My units are killed

I play MedMod 2.0 in Democracy, 3rd difficulty level. My units in town are killed! But there is no riot in town. Is it by design in this mode or is it bug? Yes I had big stack of units in town. GL says that Democracy does not like it. But I did not find any info about unit killing or disbanding. No message about it just sound and then I find that some towns are completely without defence.

It is really frustrating because it stops my liberating effort .
I know Democracy is not suitable for war but I have nothing better with 30 city limit currently.

There's a trigger in the MedMod to kill off your old units when a certain year comes around. It's there to help make the AI update its armies. Were these units you lost very old?

Unfortunately not: Grenadiers and Musketiers, Artilery at that time
almost the most modern units. And I am still first in science. It was a while after I conquered one city. Some enemy Partisans around.

What year was it when this happened?

Unfortunately I do not know now. From that time it did not happen. Anyway I think this trigger should not touch my units. Computer was kind not to kill me.
Is there any year condition in trigger? If it is important I can find when it happened. (I have saved games and I know what was situation.)

As I finish this game I will take latest MedMod version.
