Black Blob on my Screen!

Does anyone have any clue as to why there is a flashing black blob in the very centre of my screen? It flashes on and off when my mouse pointer goes over the centre of the screen? Probably a graphic card clash but I don't know a great deal about this kind of thing

From my own experience with the ATI 128Wonder by downloading the most recent drivers for it either by the manufacturer or by Windows update it corrects the problem. But depending on your actual card it may not be supported by CTP2, but i'd check the first part out first...
