    hmm well I still don't like that feature. But it is personal opinion. Maybe I'm an optimistic player. I never expect to lose a wonder. I think this has happened only once in civ2. And yes it was a happiness wonder and did cause some riots. But I quickly recovered and stomped them completely with no remorse. But I digress.

    This doesn't bother me too much, because I pay attention to what wonders I have and their effects. I rarely make the mistake of building something I don't need.

        Also important, if you build the building "just in case" do you pay the upkeep costs for it while it is effectively neutralised by the wonder?
