Just mucking around with the new CTP2. My buddy in America mailed me a second disc he got at a shop down there. He thinks he doesn't owe me anymore favours. think again.
My question is about trade. Does CTP2 treat monopolies the same way as it did in CTP1? For example the more numbers of a good heading towards a certain city will generate more profit?? It used to be that any city working a tile with a good would except incoming caravans of that good from other cites.
how does CTP2 determine what city gets what good? And why does it sometimes a possible trade route requires up to 5 caravans? Is it because of distance? If i try to establish a monopoly in say hardwood, 5 trade routes may reqire up to 25 caravans. Is it worth it or profitable to establish a monpoly in CTP2?
What stragedies do you people use when building an empire of say 20-25 cities?
Cheers! David
