Activision Patch won't install

I had to replace my hard drive and rebuilt everything due to hardware failing. Of course, CTP2 is causing probs now. I first installed the game directly from the original CD. When I try to run the regular Activision patch, it tells me it can't verify the location of the game and it exits. What's going on? Anyone have any ideas? I use a directory c:/games/call to power2 for the install instead of the default. It worked fine on the previous hard drive! Any ideas?

Visit the Apolyton directory there you can find a *zip version of the patch.

That zip file from Activision was the one that was giving me there errors. I need to know if anyone knows any tricks to getting this patch to work?

In the Apolyton directory there are other manual patches you can apply to do the same thing - this is what Martin was referring to. Look at:
