No multiplayer for me!
Can anyone please help, I love this game, but only played the AI, when I try to connect to the multiplayer setup with tcp/ip lan connection, and enter the lobby, theres no one there, just me in the main chat foom for ctp2, can anyone help...

Ive never played over a LAN before but can you get other tcp/ip games working over your LAN? Have you tried an internet game at all? Youll need to replace the servers.dat file in ...\Call To Power 2\ctp2_program\ctp before you can enter a lobby though, and only the nlink lobby works, and its usually empty, best to arrange a game.Call to Power 2: Apolyton Edition - download the latest version (12th June 2011)

No one play in the Lan lobby, go into the internet lobby and connect to nl.ink (after youve updated your .dat file).
The lobby is often empty but there are usually a few players there around 8pm GMT - 12pm GMT.
You can arrange games via the lobby here (look at the MP Registry and message a few people)

Lan multiplayer is only for playing the game over Pc's that are linked together in their own network - It's not the same as internet play, so use the other multiplayer option(IPX? Its been a while..) if you want to play over the internet. You've got the correct files now so it should be ok.(So don't try the LAN setup options,unless you've got a few pc's physically linked together?.)
