  • OFFICIAL: Should we attack Brunn now?

The attack of Wien will probably be delayed by the amout of stacks from other civilization that are threatenning our empire.

But wether this delay takes to long or takes too few time. We have a size 7 stack near Brunn. Should we use it to conquer that city?

Don't be silly. The stack is unbalanced and relatively weak and the city has heavy defense bonuses (boni). If it has as much as 4 units in it, we might even loose the battle...

Expel the Settler and move on to Wien (though it remains to be seen if we'll be strong enough to take that).

We cannot expell this settler, we can only expell settlers in our own territory and not in Austrain teritory. How that would look if we expell a n Austrian settler in Austrian territory.

For the attack I thought it was clear that our next goal is Wien and not Brunn, so the stack has to go to Wien all the other troops also go to Wien.

yep, go to Wien - and as for the settler, we shouldn't even expel it when it moves into our borders - no need to deliberately bring about the Hebrew attack!

Before the previous Turn Chat I would have said that Brunn should be attacked as we must reduce the Manpower of the Austrians. But now Wienn seems almost undefended I think we should attack it as soon as possible and then turn our attention to Pilsen.

                Martin,
Actually you *can* expel settlers outside your own borders, just not when the Settler is inside his own borders.

                Pedrunn,
Perhaps it would be useful to have a similar poll about Wien?
