  • OFFICIAL: Authorization to disband Wels

Although we don't having definitive data about the value of the Wels site, unless the AI has considerably improved the site, it is a subpar environment, particularly for growth.

You can see the site on the large MAP that Martin has provided.

It is not shown per se, but is the single orange square (gap in the border) to the NE of Pressburg.

As you'll notice, it is a mix of Desert Mountain, Desert, Plains and a hill and a Grassland. There is minimal enhancement from 2 river squares.

My plan is to disband the site, unless there is an overwhelming reason to do otherwise, and use the settler to settle on a better site, 12 tiles due south of its position (due east of the potato.)

But maybe the people of Wels would want to have some say in the manner?
Imagine if the government came to your house and said you had to move your whole family to another place........maybe they like the desert surroundings? I would quite like to vacation there every now and then, for the sun and heat.
That is all role play off course, and i guess it is not a very efficient site for growth. I think i voted to keep it, but as i think about it i would change it to get the settler and move on, unless it has been stuffed full of improvements.

well, that would bring us back to my idea from before the start of the dg, that every citizen would be randomly assigned to the different citys (weighted from their size of course) to spice up different points of view
