  • Did somebody screw up the savegame?

I'm pretty sure we finished researching Jurisprudence during the last chat, but the safegame now says that we're still researching Jurisprudence with 12 turns to completion

Please tell me it's only my savegame that's f*cked up...

My say 12 turns to Jurisprudence. But dont remember finishing jurisprudence

Seems like we saved game at the very moment we finished it. I have seen this bug before.

My save game says also 12 turns so I played again, unfortunatly I have now different options:

Ship Building and Slave Labor like last time and now Trade and Masonry, 23 turns to Masonry. Well we need Trade anyway if we want get Monarchy.

So I tested the save now it it seems to be ok, so I will replace it.

Well should I try again in the hope that I get the same outcome?

Well I decided to play again, now we have the same advance choices, but H Town is rioting now and needs one more turn to complete the hoplite. Well this change is not as big as the last change, but nevertheless it is a change. I am going to upload the save.

I did not uploaded the save game, but I played again, and the game is again different, now we can research Masonry instead of Slave Labor, this time H Town finished the hopelite.

Maybe I play again, but I wait with it to get more opinions. Before I upload the finally save.

This sure looks not meant ot be cheat

The big difference must be in the time you reloaded slic.
Still i dont mind using the researching-trade-saved-game.

Well in that case I use the save which allows us to research Drama, Slave Labor, Ship Building and Drama, with H Town rioting and needing 2 turns to finish the hopelite that is actual the closest save I have. On the one hand I can't replay until the game is exactly the same that would probably take ages, on the other hand I can't play until the outcome is better than in the original game that is cheating. So far I keep the decission open to allow more people to express their opinion, if noone objects I go for the save with the same research options and H Town with the Hoplite finished, and post it, tomorrow.

The final savegame is posted, and it is the one that I described above, same research options as we had in the game in turn chat, but H Town is rioting now and needs 2 turns to finish its Hoplite.
