  • OFFICIAL: What to research after Writing? (2)

In the other poll it's become pretty clear that the next advance to research should be Jurisprudence, even though the vote isn't officially over yet. However, what to do when Jurisprudence isn't available doesn't become quite clear. Slave Labour is second in the poll but quite a few people mention Drama as second choice in the thread. All in all things seem just about even. Therefore I'm starting this poll:

If Jurisprudence isn't available, what should we research next?

Drama gives us Theater and leads to Philosophy (and from there to Monarchy and Geometry). Stone Working gives us City Wall, Fortification and Pyramids (and leads to Masonry (Aquaduct, Great Wall)). Shipbuilding gives us Coracle and Nets and Slavery gives us Slavers and Mines.

(Number is cost in science points)

This poll will expire in 3 days (Mon 17 Feb ~9:30 GMT).

    Drama (708)

        Nothing against,

        but don't forget:

1 slave will be produced for each succesful fight (doesn't matter if Barb's or other's)
Slave's are living with only half the food of one of us
We can build mines, increased production (wonder's/unit's/improvements).

This would be directly available, for Monarchy we are still far away.........
Drama, Yes we can have entertainers, but what else? The improvement cost maintanance, so less research..........

Well as I stated in the other thread my second choice is Drama, because it is also a prequisite for Monarchy.
