By the way, if you are a tabletop boardgamer I have tested Mare Nostrum this afternoon and it is a very good boardgame with a Civilization (Avalon Hill) feel.

We should try to get peace and non-tresspass treaties with them. Threatening is okay, giving gold should be avoided if possible but may be necessary. Their regard towards us should remain fairly high, to they don't surprise attack us when (if) we're dealing with the Austrians.

No, for now we will ignore them, if possible.

The current relationship should be remained. If possible this means ignoring them, if necessary we can give them small gifts (maps, non-tresspass, if all else fails gold).

I'll attempt to be there(i haven't got it to work yet but i had a breakthru the other day.).

And if it is possible i would like to see relations with germany+thailand maintained at there current(decent) level. Ignore Austria but if we have to engage in diplomacy then i would be up for a few frosty/demanding proposals, e.g request they withdraw/request maps all with friendly tone or less friendly. I think we shouldn't need to give any more gold.
If our units avoid the german and barbarian units and manage to get to pedrunn(town), then i'd like to see them having a go at Innsbruck and that settler going to coal site to found our next city(and drafting in a defensive unit(phalanx pref)while it builds another one and then an archer to all fortify. Does SAP include a militia unit when you found a city?
