  • Domestic Affairs Announcements

In order to try and stay more on top of things I bring you this thread. This is where I will announce most of my official decisions and discuss reasoning why.

As of right now, I say that our settler in production should go ahead and settle in the potato spot possibly naming the city "The Patato Farm" but of course that will be decieded later.

after our settler I think we need to get back on track of building our army of warriors.

feel free to post questions in this thread, I have subscribed to it so I can do a better job of staying on top of things.

well, since i still believe the potato site is the wrong decision, my suggestion would be potatogeddon

do you have actual data to back up the fact that the potato is the wrong decision, or just your insane hemp driven ramblings?

All I have to say (again) is:

            Spud production 913 (-15%)
            Spud Gold 172 (+12%)
            Spud Science 226 (+27%)

            Coal production 1050 (+15%)
            Coal Gold 153 (-12%)
            Coal Science 178 (-27%)

The Spud site grows about 2 turns quicker at any given (relatively low) size , than the Coal site.

The Coal sites production advantage is less than 10 units a turn. Science is significantly better at Spudsville.

i don't know, how you calculated. but since you have the same percentages in both lists i know for sure, your math can't be correct

The percentages are just a visual aid showing how much lower and higher each aspect is in one city comparitively with the other city. The percentages I included prior to the edit were obsolete... i had values instead of a reference to another cell in the formulas. They've been updated.

The formulas are based on the formulas in Locutus' threads, for growth and general city production, and adding in the effects of the govern.txt factors for production. I used Good Land as a baseline to verify that the formulas I used worked.

Right... I had static values in the percentage fields... noticed... corrected.

                      well, 913/1050 is still ~ 0.87

I was wondeing! Why not here!

                        eight surrounding tiles

Food 110 (+15 of the main tile)
Production 60 (+5 of the main tile)
Gold 45 (+5 of the main tile)

                        Plus a potato good!

We could also settle in the tile SE of it! We wont be getting any good imediatly but once the city radius grows it will get both Bear and Potato good.
