  • Ministary Of Defence

Here's the official Ministary of Defence thread for people to come a discuss matters relating to the Armies of Lemuria.

Please feel free to post suggestions, questions, plans etc here.

Anyway our current situation is that we've just met the Germans who look to be the one of the most powerful civs in the game.

Where do you think our troops should now go? Which civ should we attack first? Where and how should we attack etc...

Here's the current map of the German front (the north Warrior is called "Bob", the southern one "Dave"):

We have done something really stupid. Sadly i had to leave the chat to prevent this mistake.

Dave (south warrior) should had come back to Pedrunn City to scort the settler to come and not continue the exploration work. Barbarians may be waiting the setler to come out

I really dont think the settler should leave the city without scort it took us 20 turns to build it. So we cant loose it now!

On the contrary, I say build it on the forested river (the loop on Pedrunn River near Dave), as we get good defence and production, plus there is the river-grassland for f00d.

        Just my $0.02

I told you to garrison "Dave" When the settler is ready dont move it along the river, at least we can see barbs coming off the river, rather than being ambushed in the same turn on the river.

When did we decide to call the poor schmuck Dave ? Don’t move the Settler without Dave!

It would be quicker to build a new warrior in the city than move Dave back and we're probably going to build a new unit there anyway. Should only take 4/5 turns.

I think Dave should explore the area west of his current position, this could uncover good tiles while our settler is starting to move. About waiting for a warrior to be produced or coming back with Dave, sooner or later we will have to take some risks, do we really have the time to wait anymore with such a bad start?

It is too late to move Dave back now

If we had followed the river north then west we would have make settler and warrior meet in a few time. Now we will need to build other warrior and delay our empire expansion

Building and possibly rush-buying an extra Warrior shouldn't cost too much time and is actually not all *that* bad -- we need the other 2 Warriors to explore...

It is too late, I think Locutus is right.

how long does a new warrior take to build?
what are our funds for rushbuying?

Would be nice to see some figures.........

About gold-reserves, production-times, times to complete science.........Could be done better .........

But I would also go for rushing a new warrior to protect our settler....

Yeah i think Dave would like to explore more, and we can always build another warrior to escort the settler.
