I'd completely missed this thread! And so funny too
Anyway my 2p:
Red/black/yellow are a good combination for flag colours, ummm could my humble Papua New Guinea flag(see left ) provide anybody with some inspiration? The Lemur/CTP2 symbol design of Maqs is great! How about a black lower triangle(right handside)with a red upper triangle(top left part) as the flag colour. With a black Lemur in the red bit and a yellow CTP2 symbol in the Black bit or some such arrangement(maybe a large yellow Lemur in the middle and small CTP2 symbolin top right?) sexy no?
Anyway there are lots of good ones here so far

Both very nice indeed, what do you use to do the flags?
That last one looks better with the black and red sections the same as the PNG flag, so thanks for that.
Did you try the CTP2 symbol instead of the southern cross stars? What do people think? Do we have a contender?

OT. Uk based folks might like to know that Mon 4th Nov there is a documentary on TV about Angkor Wat and the civillisation that built it,looks very interesting! BBC2 i think but it might be BBC1?

Great work, everybody - I thinkwe've exceeded the number of options possible in a poll already...

For the purposes of flags, PNGs are certainly preferableto JPEGs.

Yep its not in SAP, although its very nice, having them in a row like that reminds me of a coat rack or a set of shower curtain rings.

Looks like we may need a flag poll afterall.

Ive been using gifs all this time, its okay unless you want to paste in something with higher colours it doesnt look exact, but all you have to do is increase the depth to 24bit then paste it in and save it as a gif again, itll ask to reduce the colour depth again but it doesnt look half as bad.

I use PSP too, version 4 woohoo
