  • Pollution error in scenario...can I fix it?

I started a scenario (I like placing the starting locations and some mods to the maps) and am enjoying this game a lot. I just discovered, however, that I must have turned pollution off accidentally when I created the scenario. Can I edit a file somewhere to turn it on for this game or is it just off until I redo the scenario? I tried editing the userprofile.txt but every time I reload the game, it resets the userprofile to Pollution=No. Is this issue fixable?

The best way is probably to set userprofile.txt to be write-protected so the game can't overwrite the changes.

Or you could try opening the cheat menu / map editor and setting it back using the pollution button there. This may only be work temporarily though, I'm not sure.
    Concrete, Abstract, or Squoingy?

Through the cheat mode you can turn polltion on. It is a tab in the bottom of the screen.
