  • Superpowers - When and Why?

Ok, so merging civs to form superpowers.
What do you think? When would provide the most effective challenge to human dominance, bearing in mind this will only happen up to twice in a game.

Note: This is to determine when the function will run to see whether the right conditions exist: ie two alive civs who both are enemy to the human and at peace with each other, and [probably] with few enough cities to survive a merge.

What's wrong with every turn? Doesn it really take *that* many resources?

(BTW, got your/Peter's email, I'll reply later tonight)

The only problem with every turn is that it could well result in the two merges being used up by 0AD, and the rest of the game decending into tedium. Unless the chances were made really small...

Then make the chances really smart
Of course, it will require playtesting to get it exactly right, but I'm sure at least some of us still remember how that's done And if it turns out you need a turn > 500 condition, you can always quite easily add that afterwards...

I can't, you didn't include an 'other' option... Oh well, I'll just vote for 'You're a moron Ben', as that is quite true

Edit: look's like I'm not the only person who thinks that way

Vote for the bottom one then, and start your own damn poll. I'm fed up of this one anyway.
