how do i get the sprite maker to work

I know this is easy but its just me I am new to paintshop pro and have had difficulty making the alpha channel, then saving and running the make sprite .exe I always get a warning msg. in paintshop or in the exe itself all I want is some one to help me after I make the graphic its paintshop pro 7 the latest copy
