scenarion editor and empires

I accidentally added some empire flags, now I want to delete them so I have a *very* specific set of starting points.

I thought that using the eraser tool on the flags would delete them but it doesn't.

I thought that saving just the map (not the scenario) would clear them, but it doesn't.

Its not documented anywhere as far as I can tell.

How do you delete empire flags?

Place the emipre flag of the nation you want to delete to the position you want em to be.
Found no ways of deleting them just replacing but that is fine cause it solves your problem

Do you know how i save a new scenario ?

i have no clue how to do it.
Overwriting a scenario that was displaced and deleted the info in it doesnt work cause the scenario will be loaded to 95% and then will (without error message ) go to the desktop.
