Supposing I was playing a game with the Med Mod and saved it. Then went out and switched to the Apolyton pack mod and went in again but then loaded the saved game, will this cause problems or is there something in a saved game that knows to automatically switch to the correct mod?

Generally you will get severe problems.
A few days ago I accidentally loaded an old unmodded CTP2-game into MedMod2 and it looked like wonderland . There were obelisks standing all around my cities, ships were placed in the middle of continents, land units in the sea and so on. But at the end of the turn everything ended in a big crash and I landed on my desktop.
Funny experience nevertheless.

Give mod games own save directories?
I've just noticed I'm a Warlord too. Don't know when it happened though. But enough of the congratulations.
How about this for an idea. Is it possible for the modswapper to create a new save directory for each mod we switch to? Is it possible to only be able to see the games that were saved under that mod? Wouldn't that solve any confusion?Avoid COLONY RUSH on Galactic Civlizations II (both DL & DA) with my Slow Start Mod.

There isnt nothing to change to the correct mod. But i dont think nothing bad will happen either. I did that mistake a couple of times and i must say it becames pretty funny.
So just quit and load the game with the right mod"Kill a man and you are a murder.
Kill thousands and you are a conquer.
Kill all and you are a God!"
