As far as I know Easymod only works with CTP1.

Not necessarily easily, but you need to edit:
      default/gamedata: units.txt, uniticon.txt, newsprite.txt
      english/gamedata: gl_str.txt

What helps me is using the text edxiting software editplus, which counts lines helps you organize and save your files. You can get it at locutus's website.

          Hi Paul

Thanks for your quick reply. Do you have any suggestion/idea how I can make my own units (easily) without having to patch 150 text-files?
I tried this allready, but I allways got a message, that this unit is missing in some Database!?

          Thanks a log

            Hi Ben

Thanks for your info. It worked out very fine. Can you tell me, what the various entry's mean in the units.txt. How can a unit attach in the same turn more then once, if there are some movement points left?

            Thanks a lot
