'Problems' with Activision's Alexander scenario

This may be old news, but I've only just had a look at the Alexander scenario. Has anyone else encountered the bug that once you kill Darius, it generates his replacement, General Somebody-or-other not once, but every new turn from then on? Since this guy has greater strength than normal units, facing whole armies of him is a bit of a nasty situatuion! If so, is there any way of fixing this extremely stupid bug?

The other annoyance was that I researched knights and wound up with Alexander charging around at the head of an army of knights in 330 BC.

Why can't activision playtesters find this sort of thing? Or is it just my computer?

Harlon and Co are currently working on a new Alexander Scen. Hopefully all the shortcomings of this potentially great scen will be addressed.
