Question about unit updater

Okay, I admit it, I'm useless at modification and I know nothing.

But I just wanted to know from any of you experts...is it impossible to find some way of creating an auto-upgrade feature for units for CTP2, ala Leonardo's Workshop in Civ2?

Or is it impossible/not viable...?

AI frenzy mod has an auto-updater for units, but only for the AI. If you take a look at it you should see where to enable it for the player.

Hmmm...sounds interesting. I will have a look and find out some more about the frenzy mod. Thanks.

I've made the adjustment and it works fairly well.

I wonder why they didnt enable the unit update function by default?

Adjustment? Are we talking about something in the mod here?

No.....there was a post here on the board somewhere that told how to "turn on" the unit upgrade/update for human........it does work. its in one of the regular txt files.....if someone doesnt beat me to it, I will look it up

This is so cool!

So Frenzy Mod is required for auto-update? Or is is possible to pillage the AI and Human auto-update and use it?

I also saw the reference to the UN there...all this modifying is so cool, I just wish I could be a SLIC expert too.
