I am runnung CTP2 on Cradle ultra-gigantic map. It is 1712, 212 cities, Ectopia, one other small civ. I've saved one turn away from building Gaia Controller. I've tried to move on from here several times and each time the program hangs up

This seems to be a similar problem to the one being reported in this thread
The common denominator seems to be the use of ultra-gigantic maps. I've also seen earlier reports about some issues with the ultra-gigantic maps too. It may be that using such maps is proving to be less stable than hoped for.
