Big Mc,
Got nothing useful out of Activision? Don't say I didn't warn you...
Anyway, the effort is appreciated. However, I don't know exactly what you're up to this time but I would say: give it up! It is as unfortunate as it is true, but you're not going to get anything out of Activision or anyone close to Activision. Everyone involved signed contracts and NDAs (non-disclosure agreements), even if some people couldand wanted to help you, they still wouldn't because they can get sued over it and be royally f*cked by the Activision legal department. Thanks to my participation in the A-Team (see credits of CtP2), I have some potentially interesting things on CD myself as well (no graphics but other stuff), but there's not a chance in hell I'm going to share ny of it with anyone at Apolyton for exactly that reason.
The only person from whom you could get some help from is from whoever is responsible for old and closed projects at Activision, but since the company dumped their entire programming division right after the release of the patch for CtP2, I don't know if such a person exists at all at this point. If any of the old CtP resources (graphics, source code) still exist, they are probably on a backup drive somewhere and quite possibly noone at Activision knows of their existance.
I hate this just as much as you do, but the best thing to do in this case is to give up and move on.
