  • Disappointing News about Civ3

So, what is to be done. Firaxis have reported that "Civ III will not be shipping with any form of scripting language or macro support. " Where does that leave us? Anybody got any ideas, plans, suggestions, anything?

Hardly anyone plays CTP2 anymore, and our talents cannot be put to use on Civ3.

    Pitty,

Still, Original Civ2 didn't had any kind of scriptin language, but
Conflicts in Civilizations Expanison pack got one nice little, aldought
    primitive macro language.
    Maybe there is a hope.

Damn, I just missed Dan Maghda earlier in that thread. That is a major disappointment

I'll still get it, but it won't be nearly as much fun without some sort of scripting language
      Concrete, Abstract, or Squoingy?
"I don't believe in giving scripting languages because the only additional power they give users is the power to create bugs." - Mike Breitkreutz, Firaxis
