Ive been trying to make extremely large makes so that I can play with a lot more civs but my problem is that when I change the map sizes the map looks REALLY wierd, like if I put the slider to ocean bound land I get nothing but ocean and a bunch of 1 tile land masses scattered about, and if I put the slider to continents I get ONE LARGE LAND MASS!!!! What is going on what exactly do I need to change

You need to check out the posting by EdCase on the map.txt file and it's uses... he explains what to edit to reduce the patch work quilt pattern that you get... I've not tested it yet but he claims that it partially corrects this problem
Claims! Claims Why I oughta....... seriously though i have had no problems up to yet.Try varying the max and or min increases as well rather than doubling..that also gives interesting results

Actually I've been tweaking some more using constr.txt as well...some really good results too...appears I have got the diversity slider to work too my satisfaction...really broken terrain one end...moving down to rolling grasslands..huge deserts...continent sized mountain ranges at the other
I've decided to post my scenario folder to the site (if they want it) it is/will be called supersize.zip
Seems I've found my CTPII grail ;p
