    Thanks Solver! I'm glad it worked out that way. I think Arthur is from Utah, USA not California, USA. Utah is one hour ahead of California, so I think it fits.

              To: Arthur, St Jon, and TheBirdMan;
              Please refer to Solver's and quinns' threads under the "PBEM Ladders" topic under this forum. Solver has initiated a PBEM Ranking system and would like this game, "How about some", to be the first in a series of RATED CTP PBEM games. If you all agree, then we will make it so.

                  I'm not sure I understand the maths involved but I'll give it a go.

                  Let me know if you need anymore info.

                    That's great St Jon and BirdMan. Once Arthur agrees, we'll consider it official

                    St Jon, did you see Arthur's post that he did not receive the turn from you?

                      I hadn't but Turn now resent but it's to the same email address so if there's a hang up there then we are in trouble.

                        BirdMan, many thanks for agreeing to that. Should make the whole thing much more interesting. StJon, Arthur, thoughts?

                          Turn 0 ---> Quinn

                          I agree to give it a try. So what do we have to do?

                            You don't have to do anything, just continue playing. But you better read the system PBEM Admin (me) uses to evaluate you. Also, we need to know which difficulty level of CTP AI have you ever defeated. Even if you only defeated it once. Please post BirdMan, StJon and Arthur, just the level, nothing else.

                              Now, I didn't get it. (We have a pattern here).

                              Arthur, please resend turn 0 to quinns at steveq@gte.net .

                                Ignore previous post about not receiving turn 0. I got the turn at work instead of home. Arthur must have seen an e-mail sent by me earlier with my work e-mail address. Please send future e-mails to steveq@gte.net (for quinns). I'll send my turn 0 to Solver by about 0300 GMT on Friday.
