  • play behind proxy?

    Hello,
is it possible to play on the internet behind a proxy firewall?

    If yes how?

    I use "wingate"

    Thanks

I'm sure you could play PBEM (Play By E-Mail) behind a firewall, as you only use e-mail, but otherwise, i don't see how.

Anyway, try PBEM. It's lots of fun, and a real challenge to boot

      Hi tebra

I play online with zonealarm installed all the time.
Zone alarm just asks if i want the application to access the internet? I have never used wingate but i imagine you can inform it that xyz program has access to the internet and has server rights. Maybe in the help files? Or use zone alarm it's free and less intrusive than most i have used. Hope i helped (-:

        Thanks,

but I don't thing that Zone Alarm will help me.
The problem is that the internet connection is not on my computer. I'm connected through a server computer that use Wingate.
So to use un app like Internet Explorer I must specifi the IP address of the server in the proxy options.
Is it a configuration file on CTP where I can put the IP of the server?
