  • When CTP2 comes out

How are you going to cope when the best multiplayers, who all play Civ 2, join your happy crew? I guess you might learn something

AH - what are you doing here?

I don't think any of us are too worried. Perhaps you Civ II'ers will be the ones to learn a thing or two?

Hmm I noticed you cross posted this and MarkG to exception to the other one, poor horse.

As to the Civ2 players being better, well the strategy is pretty different, So as old people always learn slower I think I'll be able to handle them .

Just who is this arrogant git?

Has he risen to Emporer by virtue of great and successful participation in many Games or merely by cross-posting inane boastful trash?

As for cheeky little SOB's like Sophie calling Civ2 Players 'Too old to learn'!

Seriously CTP and Civ2 are two completely different games and a lot of the bad press CTP got was from Civers disappointed that it wasn't Civ3. There are many reasons for slagging CTP but it being different from Civ2 is not a fair one.

It is to be hoped that CTP2 and Civ3 will take the good points from each other, as well as SMAC, and two much improved, but still different, games will emerge.

Whenever you want. Large to giganic map.

St Jon mentioned Slamp's Acc-Start Scenario in another tread.

Should we try this Sop - and can we get some more players?

If so, then a tread of AH can be used for something good.

How bout this Saturday. Sure Slamp's mod would be interesting, never played with it in MP. I'd love to see other players join us.

What about you Jon, prepared to back up that insult?

If were talking PBEM. Im afraid Im in too many as it is

Great I'll start a new topic on it so as to hopefully draw some eyes. I was thinking about having a game this Saturday.

                              SOP:

I' only in for at PBEM, don't think my dear family will allow me the "peace" for a on-line game.

Next time you (even think to) start a new game, I'm in (pls use e-mail thebirdman@lyngbyes.dk).
