Explain to BirdMan and Aaginor the problem. We'll see which one of us are able to open and close the turn. If I run into trouble too, then there is major problem. Actually, TheBirdMan has a point, the only person who has so far been able to open and play billhq's turn is you.


Maybe that cheat patch you're using is corrupting the game. .. Email me and I'll send you the fixed version.

Stavros: I think TheBirdMan is probably right, I was unable to paly the turn as well. IT can mean only one thing... its YOU! YOU'RE THE CULPRIT!

Okay guys? How do we solve this problem now, it appears the problem does not lie at billhq's end, but at Stavros's end. Hey Stavros have you got some wierd mod installed? Could you uninstall CTP, then delete the CTP directory and reinstall Civ-CTP and play the turn again and forward it?? Hopefully that will fix the problem, but what I dont get is, you are in other games too, how come we have no problem there?

Also I have a MAJOR problem.

KEYGEN: What is going on? I noticed something rather wierd. :-/ , how come billhq has nearly 9 settlers and I have only 2???? How many settlers does each one of you have? Whats going on here? . I'm gonna have to look into the scenario and make sure no other civs have 9 settlers, or all of us have 9 settlers.

The only wierd mod I have is the 1.2 Patch I don't even have the hack installed.... But I do have the German version of the game, not that that should make ny difference...

I'll re-install CTP tonight and give it another go...
But this other development does interest me. How many settlers are we supposed to have? I only got 2 as well...

Open billhq's turn, I saw so many settlers , I didn't evne bother counting exactly how many, they were atleast 4 times the number of settlers I have. We'll have to restart the game with a more reasonable startup.

Stavros, install the 1.21 hack as well, I think most people have it installed.

I think, that King Thor is pretty right, the problem seems to be somewhere within Stavros computer? Did you anger the Bit-God somehow, Stavros?
On the other hand ... let's have another try:
It looks like I got the same settings like Stavros:
CtP 1.2, german version, no other mod installed.
So sent me the turn of Stavros BEFORE the game was corupted. I will play it, send it to King Thor and we will see what happens ...

Okay fellas, I have something super wierd to report.

I just opened and checked the scenario with which I started and it appears the Keygen DID give everyone the right numbers. /:-/

Each city had 6 units.

However, I counted the total number of units under billhq.
10 settler.
1 warrior
1 Phalanx. There is no way they could have fit under one city.. max allowed is 9 anyway.

Gold was untouched, not that thousand gold could let you buy a settler. So where did the extra 8 settlers come from ?? Hmm?

OK. I've sent you all a new copy with from my "clean" instalation. See how that goes. I replayed the turn I received. I still think it's wierd that bil could play the first turn, and not the second...

The game, that Stavros sent me from the clean installation WORKED!!!

BTW: For what is the Hack 1.21 good? Is it recommended to install?

Yah, I have many settler.
The test game King Thor gave me was containing only with 2 settler and 3 warrior, 1 phallanx.
But in the turn 0, i got many, I thought you change it the scenario. So what happen ?
I already send the turn to Keygen, as soon as the turn that Stavros sent work.
Than I realize there is problem here.

BTW: The Hack 1.21 is suppose to be good when you make a scenario. It's say, you can save the scenario you made. I was install that hack, but still can save the scenario I made. Maybe I was not carefully read the README file.

Have any tried to take a full "next" turn - just for test?

Okay we're gonna have to restart this game (again!) ..

However to speed things up, we'll all get a little extra gold, PW, and a third settler and phalanx. What do you guys think?
