  • Do some PBEM?

The computer AI is getting on my nerves with its stupidity so I'd like to start a PBEM, 3-5 players on a medium map. This will be my first Multiplayer Game, some help would be nice.
    My ideas about the settings:
    Medium size,
    wet o---------- dry
    warm o---------- cold
    ocean ----o------ land
    island ----------o continent
    uniform ----------o diverse
    few goods ----o------ many goods

deity level, CD's mod, one warrior and maybe a second settler, no barbarians, flat world.
Good/not good? Yes/No? To be/not to be? Tell me.

I'd like to get into another PBEM game but there doesn't appear to be an awful lot of interest at the moment does there?

If a few more players show an interest then I'd like to be in!

Havn't played PBEM games before - but I would like to try.

          I'm in.

I check mails everyday (execpt weekends) at this time - and often a second time 5-7 hours later. I might be able to take a turn saturday and sunday - but i'm not quite sure.

          E-mail max.reiff@get2net.dk

Why not... You can never be in too many PBEM games

            steve.auch@myokay.net

I suggest (as usual) some sort of fast start scenario. With 3 or more settlers to start with. Otherwise the first 10 turns are only pressing the "next turn" buton. I'll send you the scenario if you like Sowasabauch, and you can check it out.

Hello my new friends, nice to meet, and, maybe kill you . Where have you been all the time? But I think we are complete now:
              Sowasabauch
              Krash
              Charliebrown
              Arthur
              TheBirdMan
              Stavros

Stavros, if you send me the scenario I'll have a look at it.

                Hmmm ...
England versus Germany, I think this game will be very interesting.

Great! Sounds like we've got a game

                  My mail is ircoodge@yahoo.com
I'd like to play the Russians if that's possible!

I agree with the quick start idea, otherwise it seems to take forever to get into the game.

OK. I've sent the scenario to Sowasabauch
to check out. 5 settlers, the 5 fundemental advances and 10,000 gold, to give a nice kick start. See what you think Sowasabauch
and if you like it, mail it to the other players to put in their scenario directory.

Thank you Stavros, I got the thing.
I have no problems with using it.Would be boring without, just sent it to the others.
                      What about the game settings?

If someone did see this post before I edited it - then forget it.

If possible I would like to have the Vikings, if not then Spanish or Portuguese.

Medium map = regular size. Right?

Settings ok - though I love playing on larger maps.

I'd guess I'll be the Americans if still available.

All please give info about when you expect to take a turn. Then we can take that into memory when deciding who are no. 1 - 2 and so on - just to get some smooth turns.

Time is now 4:23 (10:23 danish summertime). I'll be able to take a turn between 01:30 and 02:30 and maybe again 10:00-12:00. Seldom between 12:00 and 15:00.

I can play after 18:00 GMT. I check mail in the mornings as well, but don't like taking too much time before work. Settings are OK. I like the medium or large map, so we have time to get set up. Are there going to be any time restrictions on turns?
