The dialog between the Minister of Foreign Office and the President Keygen after the contact:
Minister:
Our messenger informed us that Lord Shavlor had send the phalanx to make contact with us and establish a border between Brazilians and Americans. He personally ordered his men to assure us that they are looking forward for a peaceful coexistence between the two nations.
President Keygen:
Peacful coexistence? That would be nice but can we trust them?
And where do they think that those borders should be?
Minister:
I suggest to meet with Lord Shavlor and arrange this matter before it goes any further and create any problems to our relations.
President Keygen to Lord Shavlor:
Honourable Lord Shavlor I bring neighborly greetings from the American people and wish for your nation's prosperity. I would like your suggestion about where should be the border line and I would also like to know your government type. I hope we live in peace.
President Keygen.

I think the Turn rate in this game is utterly stupid especially considering the stage of the game.
To have taken eight weeks to reach Turn 14, which I haven't even received yet, is terminally boring.
I think I will opt out, though I will of course play until a replacement is found, as this offers the same level of excitement as watching paint dry.
Sorry Shavlor, it's a lovely scenario but at this pace we will all be very old men by the time it is completed.

I have been accused in the past for slowing down the game but ever since I have complied with the common will.
I check my email & the postings everyday, so don't blame me for slowing down the game and please try to play a bit more faster!
President Keygen's majesty states his desire to be alive when this world will get under the rule of one nation (namely mine).

Sorry Shavlor I have had as much boredom as I can take.
Despite the exhortations to greater haste nothing has improved so please AI me and seek a replacement player for the Japanese. About the only thing that I can even remember is that I am the Japanese!
I'm in some pretty sedate games but nothing even comes close to this one and the others at least have the redeeming feature that when I do get a Turn I have more to do than move a few exploration units and hit 'END'.
Best of luck and apologies once again. It was a very nice idea for a Scenario and should have been the basis for an interesting game but a Turn a week, at best, is really only an exercise in frustration.
