The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

OK, I've mailed the mod to you all. You only have to unzip it into your scenario folder. There's another potential player as well, Kris (as seen on the email list) If he gets there in time he is a good reliable player. If he doesnt see it in time... well... them's the breaks.

hmmm i got a file that makes the gigantic map 4 times bigger (can set it to 2 times if you like) we can restart a game on those settings and bring in another interested player i know....
no offence to the player that allready found a msuketeer but that kind a ruins some of the game for my part....
i would suggest we restarted the game with semi_acc and larger map + 1 more player, but this is just a suggestion i will continue the game if you guys want to
(better to restart fast then play say 20 turns and then restart )

I'm happy to restart if you all think that someone has a major advantage or disadvantage over the rest. It wouldn't seem very fair to continue under such circumstances.
Is there some way to limit the players movements in the first few moves to stop people finding each other too quickly?
I'm easy either way as well. For all my comments, I'm (reasonalby) confident that my game playing abitities can overcome the start problems. What have the rest of you found with your starting positions? An alternative to a bigger map, is starting the game with 5 "normal" settlers. I'm sure someone could whip that up in a couple of minutes. A bigger map would only make it harder to engage once "normal" movement rates come into play (ie after turn 5). But wither way, it should be interesting

you passed the 24h but it is kinda stupid to not let someone play their 1st turn, so i would rather start a new game if you ain't playing..... Let us know in this forum fast or else we start a new game with the people actually playing...
