    Turb 82 -> Jon
    ...
come on guys let me enjoy these times of action!

to Swissazuma: Unfortunatly you Spy had to be executed yesterday. I personaly would prefer to send him back but my advisors told me that the people of Greece wouldn't elect me again after an act of such cowardice. Anyway since the war is your foult and since you haven't done any real harm to me I would accept to sign a peace treaty if you ask me for it!

to Jon: Well only time will show if my words are empty threats or not. Until then we both must wait and...hope...

        Turn 82 to Don.

Tilemacho, your words are empty threats. You are spread far and wide and I can take and kill your Cities at will. Poor Thessaloniki, I wonder just how long she will even exist as a distant memory?

Seek the path of Peace or face the loss of your many small and well spread Cities. I am merciful and will not pursue this War further if you accept the German right to the ownership of the Shellfish monopoly but beware the power of our awesome Navy and many fine Soldiers as they love kebabs!!

Turn 83 -> Tilemacho, Breaker of Peace Treaties

            The War Room, location classified.

"What have we told the people," Swisazuma questioned the Director of Internal Affairs.

"We have released that he was killed by anti-foreigner mobs, incited by the news of the German attack on the Greek overseas colony." "You may think the Southlands, historically anti-German, would be up in arms that an Aztec would die because of German actions," The Director paused, " but the opposite has developed, many of our young men are crossing into Germany and volunteering to rid the continent of the Greek scourge."

"And what of our reponse to the Greeks?" spoke Swisazuma looking directly at the Commander.

"We have dispatched ships to interrupt Greek trade, we believe our new submersible boats will prove best in this area." The Commander continued, "our strategy is to wear down the Greeks by attacks on their commerce and infrastructure, while maintaining a seaborne defensive perimeter." The Commander noted the position of the home fleets, and concluded, "if the Greeks do not accept our peace terms, our invasion force will be ready to strike."

"And what are our peace terms?" inquired the First Citizen.

"We are asking for 2000 gold, or in lieu of gold the knowledge of corperation" responded the Foreign Minister. " The Germans have not confirmed whether they will only accept the total surrender of Greek cities on the continent," added the Minister, " that would be the logical goal of the war."

Hi I am at the University right now and I will play my turn as soon as I go home...

Jon: You attacked me without a single provocation (oh, yeah I forgot... you love crabs you said ) and then you expect me to sign again a peace treaty with you! Why should I do that? To give you time to build your army and destroy me easily? No my friend you will suffer the consequences of your own mistakes.

Swissazuma: You know very well that the war is your fault...but of course it’s not a mistake it’s a very well scheduled plan. You first ally with the Germans to make sure they won’t attack you and then you both go against me! I want peace with you, but I can’t accept your aggressive behavior. If you wanted peace you would have accepted my terms!

To Both of you: I know very well that I won’t win a war against both of you. But be sure that after the end of it you won’t have a single chance to win this game. My people would rather die than even face the chance of being conquered by you.

This is the letter I send to Swissy after finding his Spy: (I can send picture to anyone if he wants it)

Hi Swissazuma great Leader of the Aztecs,
could you please explain this to me? (see image)
well under normal conditions I wouldn’t bother you with letters, but now that I am at war against the Germans I thought about it a little more.
Do you think that you can make war against me and still have chances to win after it? Well if you do just take a look in the pollution next turn and compare Xoloc (pollution 15) to several of my cities….
I think you will have more chances winning if you take a part of that moribund civilization (the Germans I mean...)
I will expel your unit if you:
              1. Exchange Maps
              2. Exchange Corporation with Oil refining (I don’t ask Electricity because I don’t want to give you the wonder excuse).
              3. Sign a 30 turns not attack agreement

I am waiting for your answer...btw don’t worry about your spy, he is in good hands…temporary...

              Regards,
              Tilemacho

Please tell me dear Assyrian and Celts, wasn’t that a more than fair proposal? Although spying is an act of war I was prepared not to punish the invader if the Aztecs did enough to convince me that they don’t want war against me…but they didn’t do anything. Now they call me “peace breaker” and want 2000 gold to keep peace. But I know for sure that even if I pay they will still continue the war against me!.
So do you prefer to stay aside and wait until these two “war-like” Nations come against you?
Well I don’t think that it would be very clever. Try to stop them now that they are weak (but still so agreesive...)

...don’t wait for your turn to come...

                Turn to Don.

Tilemacho, I have offered you the opportunity of peace and hope that you will accept. You have hit the wrong target I fear for Heidleburg, whilst precious to the German people, is far from our Industrial heartland.

Germany, unlike Greece, broke no Treaty and merely took possession of what was rightfully the property of the Fatherland.

                Reichschancellor Jon.

                      ...
Jon: You mean you have done nothing wrong by suddenly attacking and destroying one my cities? Well I have a different opinion.
I killed the Atzec Spy because Swissazuma refused to accept 3 terms that would asure she wouldn't attack me while I am at war with you. She didn't accept the terms and I did what I had to do. I didn't offend the Aztecs, they did.
I am sorry but I can't accept your peace treaty because I don't trust you. You are only trying to win some time because it is obviously now that you wasn't ready for a real war when you started it...I might die, but you will die with me

Slamp, are you there, I need your opinion!!!

                            Turn 85 -> Slamp
It took me three tries to detach the AI. The first time it acepted the command to detach but Tilemacho's turn showed up on my desktop. The second time it detached, I checked by sending a map exchange and didn't get an immediate reply, but again the AI played Slamp's turn. This time it froze before completely ending. The third time it worked, with an interesting side effect of I could see the trade route lines again.
