Do you have any suggestions for a quick start, such as a scenario where we have some cities and maps from the start? The sooner one gets to interact with each other in the game, the more fun it will be. Playing two month before meeting each other can't be much fun IMO.
Also, would you be interested in playing with Celestial Dawns mod?

For myself, I can say that I'm not interested in a quick start, and have no problems with waiting 2 months before seeing another player, I also don't use any mods, just CTP 1.2. My whole point is that I'd like a game that busy people can play; in these circumstances, I think that any more than one per day would force one to sacrifice the proper amount of time in planning, and so lose the game, then the 2 months /would/ be a waste. I'm sure you can find others who are interested in a quick start and using mods though...

I have not been involved in a PBEM game yet, and would like to try a 'baseline' (unmodified) game. I think I can find at least one other, I will direct them this way. How many players are you looking to include in the game? How many AIs? I will try to find people with a similar interests.

Just out of curiosity: a PBEM game from 4000 BC, with hardly one turn per day means that you will reach the Alien life project by christmas...2001 :eek at best!
Are PBEM:s ever played to a natural end, or do players drop off when they like get kids, take a few weeks vacation abroad, buy CTP2 and 3? (Or in worst case, when a competitor just beats them to that wonder they have been building on for the last month)
Don't take this negative (although I can't avoid some sarcasm)! If you have the patience to follow through a year+ game, then I'm impressed! There are few things in life I can keep that constant and reliable.
