I have not played an E-mail game yet, but was planning to in the near future. However, given the length of the game, it seems probable that at least once or twice during the course of play someone will have to miss their turn to avoid a long delay.
If you have to miss a turn, is there a better option than letting the computer AI take over? It would seem that having nothing happen would be better than having the AI change gov., trade, production, etc.
Even better, could an extra turn be planned out through queues and paths to allow some progress, even though sightings or other occurences could cancel some? This would not be very useful in the middle of a heated war, but in slow times could be useful.
Thx, Train
