Not as potent as some of your Canadian beer! I got pissed on some evil Canadian brew in Vancouver many years ago and sometimes i wonder if i ever fully recovered

Hey! You said it, pal! Actually, i quite enjoyed canadian beer. This beer was, i think, called "Labbatt's Ma*imum Ice" (still can't get that ****ing letter to type), and was a lethal 7.1%. Eight of those and i was conning one of your fellow gullible countrymen to drink an even "lethal-er" drink called a depthcharger. And yes, it's as lethal as it sounds. You get a shot of Drambrui and drop it into a schooner (2/3 pint, i think) of beer, or any size beer if you're game, first making sure you drink some of the beer to allow room for the shot glass of Drambrui (you wouldn't want to waste beer, would you??!!), and scol it furiously.
I'll never forget the look on the poor guy's face, wild eyed, saying "you don't DRINK that, do you?!!!?!"
"Bloody oath!!", i said. "All the time!", i lied. Of course, i had to show him how it's done, and i put on a brave face and downed it in quick time. Sweating profusely, he unadvisedly sipped the depthcharger to the mirth of the growing crowd, copping the Drambrui all in one hit. The fact that i'd never drank one ever before was beside the point - at least i knew how to drink it without writing myself off, as he very much did.
It did catch up with me a short time later, having eaten a burger at Burger King, and the wrapper as well, as my cousin found me asleep on the kiddies slippery dip at minus 20 degrees Celcius (you can work out Farenheit). That canadian beer definitely had something to do with that _very_pissy_night.
