Taosoich's Office.
Ireland is disgusted by the manner in which Germany has chosen to use the press to utterly distort both her motivation and sincerity in seeking a formal Alliance. The German deceit goes even deeper as having sent a personal communique requesting clarification of Irish proposals 'before' publication of DCR7 it went ahead regardless. We have lodged a formal protest with Kaiser Ed and despite our justifiable anger have attempted to resume constructive talks.
We would like to make clear that Slavia has signed a Treaty of Alliance with Ireland and that though both nations must look first to their principal partners, England and France respectively, we still are committed to a policy of non-aggression and mutual aid and trust that the Slavs are as well. We have not signed any Treaty with the SFU as a whole as until this turn we have had no contact with the French.
Sean O'Phelps
Chief Secretary

The Statement of SC
Slav Confederate wants to announce that our country did not signed the alliance treaty with Irish. We are formally signed only peace treaty. It is the fact that our relationships with Ireland Authorities are much more better and we can say that it is good, and warm, but we didnt signed any treaty with them. The only alliance which we are in is the Slav-French Union which is the most efficient and friendly alliance that it coulf be. We want to strongly cooperate with Irish and we will be do this still and we think that Irish will do this too, but Alliance is too strong word. Peace and frienship is better.
Head of SC and cohead of SFU,
Luk Castle"We, in Poland, dont know the idea of peace at any price. There is only one thing in life of people, nations, and countries that is priceless. This thing is honor!" - Jozef Beck, Polish Foreign Minister. 5 V 1939

Turn 45 to Frazer.
Irish Foreign Ministry Special Report.
Ireland can today announce herself proudly to be the first nation to have made contact with every other nation upon the face of the Earth.
An Embassy will be established with the Canadians next turn, assuming no hostility upon their part, and then we will have formalised our relations with all as well.
Ireland extends the hand of friendship to all and though the poorest, weakest and most backward of all nations will do all within her power to aid the cause of peace and reconciliation between all her friends and allies.
We would ask that the Vikings cast their vote upon the Chairmanship of the INC so that this august body should finally be brought into being and the admirable Slavian ideal of a United Nations of Dutcheese be at last realised.
