GOVERNOR OF SEVILLE NAMED EL CID.

The Council of the Republic has named the Governor of Seville to assume the leadership of Spain as El Cid. This after his successful negotiation with the Phonecians, over the crab fields on the southern coast of the Seville Province. He is the first to hold the title of El Cid who has not previously served as the Grand Mayor of Madrid or was the Archavatar of the Spanish Church.

EL CID HONORS FOUNDING OF MADRID
In honor of the 5000th aniversary of the founding of Madrid, El Cid has ordered an "Around the World Tour" to find what lies beyond the realms of our friends the Phonecians and Egyptians. A fleet of ships has sailed from Granada, and will follow a westward course. "When the Holy Avatars bore the title El Cid, they sent small expeditions out to sea which brought back a great wealth of knowledge. I hope this voyage of discovery will be as successful as those of our past"
