Tilemacho: Yeah, it's the last bug I found.
        I just posted a new version: http://slaamp.virtualave.net/ctp/AQuickStart.zip

Swissy: I hope I will begin the game this weekend.

              OK, we are 5 players:

              - Slamp: Celtic (?), Slamp II, olivier@daury.net, GMT+1
              - Swissy: Aztec, Swisazuma, markbalt@aol.com, GMT-6
              - Jon: Germans, Jak, jonfurderer@freeuk.com, GMT
              - Don: Assyrians, Don, deveritt@orc.ca, GMT-5
              - Tilemacho: Greeks, Tilemacho, psycho@med.uoc.gr, GMT+2

I look at your times, and I think we have 3 possibles players' orders:
What do you think ? Which one will be the right one ?
              I know it's utopian, but...

None of them seem to flow better than the rest. So, go with any of them, #3 is ok, I don't mind being last. Let's get going to take advantage of the weekend.

It seems that 3 has the most natural East==>West flow.

The World settings you put in your EMail are fine with me except that it has got to be a Gigantic World with five of us or we are just going to be falling all over each other right from the start. I didn't think that difficulty level made any difference in MPG whatsoever but even if it does it's the same for all.

Ok, if we play the 3 one I can play a little later my turn so as to play after you Slamp (can sleep a little more)
But 1 and 3 look better than the 2nd one.

                      Ok for solution 3.

Well I played 30 turns using the quickstart in deity, gigantic map and against 4 AI. Well, it would be very difficult to win.
On turn 20; I had -22G each turn and only 79 in science
                      I made 2 new triggers in scenario.slc
The first one replace super settlers at turn 5 by normal one, the second one add 3 caravans. I think in the release, it would be 5. I will test again the quickstart tomorrow morning but now I'm going to bed

I have some problems with Apolyton Pack.
After my crash I installed again CTP, CTP patch 1.2, CTP hack 1.21, Apolyton Pack.
Now when I try to play a pbem using a scenario from Apolyton Pack I could play the first turn, but I can't load the second one by clicking on it. Any idea ?

Yes, I have an idea. The README file said there is a problem with PBEM Apolyton Pak scenarios. Part of the autostart code is corrupted by the scenario. To get around this you must place the PBEM.csg file in the regular save games folder:

                                C:\Program Files\Activision\Civilization-Call To Power\ctp_program\ctp\save\games

Create a new folder, I call mine "PBEM" and when you download the turn file, send it to that folder. Then boot up CTP in the single player mode, load game, find the game file. I've played a few turns using three players and it works fine.

Slamp, when you create the game, you must have the Apoloyton Pak "activated". You do this by either loading an old Apolyton Pak saved game or creating a new Apolyton Pak single player game. You then hit the "New Game" button under options and back your way to the multiplayer/PBEM start screen. If you don't, you won't be able to use all those new civs like Celts and Aztecs.
