                      Good to see we are back on track for a turn a day.

                      A gala feast was held in honor of the Emissaries of the Egyptian and Phoenician rulers. Each brought their civilization's maps. Spanish cartographers have produced a "Map of the Known World" which both diplomatic parties were given as gifts to their people from El Cid.

                            The Phonecian delegation to Spain is quite pleased with the quality of the combined map, and commends the Spaniards' efforts to expand the world's knowledge. We look forward to more cooperative endeavors in the future.

                            The new maps show that one of our explorers is well within a peninsula that the Spanish have already explored and colonized. The unit will be sent off to more productive work elsewhere, that we may both benefit.
